Mar 01, 2020 HERE I'm Presenting the best settings for PPSSPP v1.1.1.0 these settings works on most of the games to get the good Speed on PPSSPP. Hello Everyone! As the title says, I would just like to know the best graphic setting for pc. I did tons of research and most of the things that I have found were either mostly focused on mobile setting or outdated so instead I decided to ask you guys for guidance.
The latest version of PSP emulator which is PPSSPP v1.4 is very promising. It lets you play your favourite PlayStation Portable games in full HD even on your Android device. In previous versions of ppsspp, the game textures was blur as psp games are made for small screen, but in v1.4 you can upscale textures. Other important additions this version are support for D3D11, new audio setting in order to deliver better performance with wireless headsets and high DPI display fixes.

So, here are the screenshots for the best settings for PPSSPP 1.4 to play PSP games like God of War: Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, Soul Calibur, Ridge Racer 2, Tekken 6, Tekken 5 DR and other popular games as well:
(Note: The graphics settings can be changed depending upon the processor and the graphics card you are dealing with)
- System Settings:
(*If your PC or Laptop has less than 3GB of RAM, then “Cache full ISO in RAM is not recommended)
- Graphics Settings (Note: At any time to improve the game speed you can set frame-skipping max up to 2, above that, the game may be crashed)
- Audio Settings
- Network Settings (In order to play games online or on LAN)
Control Settings (Keyboard)
(Go to controls and then click on control mapping)
Note: However, you cannot configure L2 and R2 in ppsspp directly. The only way out to is to assign two keys for various inputs in order to get desired outputs. Say for example if you wish to assign triangle and circle into a single input in order to get triangle+circle as an output, you just need to add single key to both triangle and circle.

Settings for the best graphics I'm fairly new to this emulator and I was wondering which settings offered the best graphical experience. The text and images as they are seem a bit blurry and out of focus to me even if I don't full screen the window. I am using v0.9.5 on PC and have tried playing Patapon 2 and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. |

Set rendering to Non-buffered and set frameskipping to auto. check on Multithread if you have a more than 2 cpu core. The other part is up to you, so go ahead and keep on experiment to see if you get the best graphical experience. RE: Settings for the best graphics To make text sharper, try Texture Scaling to 3x or 4x, there are a few different modes you can choose from. |

RE: Settings for the best graphics Thank you for the replies. I've implemented your suggestions with a small increase in graphical performance. I also unchecked mipmapping. Anyways hopefully the graphics will be improved as more developments are released. Can't wait to get my ps3 controller in the mail and relive my childhood ^^ EDIT: I've gotten the graphics in game to be very sharp however the text still is not at the same quality. For example either the text is pixelated or not pixelated but blurry with faded stuff around each character. Is this normal or is there a setting I haven't played with yet? |

RE: Settings for the best graphics i found this settings best for 3D games with 2D menus and text Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.>stretch to display >VSync >postprocessing shader -4xHqGLSL >rendering mode -buffered rendering >texture filtering -nearest or linear < it really depands on game but in most cases linear is better >texture scaling -4x -hybrid -deposterize >hardware transform >vortex cache >enable sound < of course rest options is really up to you in some games like Ys VI The Ark of Napishtim text have bad filtering i need to do save state and that text is filtered (or was it load state) and as soon as i press anything to move text its back to bad filtered but other than that this setting works good enough for most of the games http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12513 or http://www.x360ce.com |
